Bi-fold Door
Kaldor Bi-fold counterweight doors are the perfect solution for tropical homes and business that want to have the freedom of outdoor living with the comfort of indoor living. Our steel and glass doors are counterweighted so even large sizes can be easily lifted with little effort to instantly convert your wall into wide open space.
We custom build our doors to suit our desired color, size and motif. These doors are trouble free and will last for years to give you the freedom to choose what kind of day you want to have. When the door is open, the it will form an overhang to protect from sun and light rain. When closed, the door can be securely locked to protect your home and business. Automatic doors are also available.
Essentially, bi-fold doors are made up of multiple leaves which fold back on themselves in order to open up an entire aperture. The doors are fitted to runners, and when opened they slide and fold at the same time for seamless operation. Are bi-fold door a good idea for indoor spaces? Absolutely. They’re a wonderful way to enjoy flexible open plan living space. You can use them to separate off two rooms – a kitchen and a living room, for example – and have the option to open up them up in an instant when needed.
